Awards/Honours

1x Stanley Cup Champion
3x NHL All-Star

Honourable Mention: Corey Perry (2003, ANA)

Another hard choice on this one. I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for the Rangers because they were my dad’s team, and Richter was phenomenal for them when they won the cup in 94. 300 wins as a goalie is impressive as hell, and that total would be much higher if the Rangers had been better in the late-90s/early-2000s. Despite his recent decline, Perry’s been an excellent player for Anaheim, a major contributor since he entered the league, and he’s had a lot of individual success, but I’m giving the edge to Richter here.
