1x Stanley Cup Champion

2x NHL All-Star

Honourable Mention: Ryan Kesler (2003, VAN)

Again, another later first round slot that hasn’t produced many star players. Whitney had a long career, put up a ton of points, and was able to keep up the production even when he was older and nearing the end. Kesler gets a mention because of the years he spent as one of the top defensive forwards in the game, even though his point totals aren’t overly impressive. And I’ll give a nod to Brock Boeser. No telling how his career pans out, but he had a hell of a first season, and if that’s how the rest of his career goes, he’ll definitely be in the conversation for the top spot in the future.
