Awards/Honours

2x NHL Second All-Star Team
5x NHL All-Star

Honourable Mention: Olaf Kolzig (1989, WSH), Ryan Getzlaf (2003, ANA)

There was some debate for me with this one. When Kolzig was good, he was very good, and he’s got the 1999-00 Vezina Trophy to show for it. He just wasn’t very good for very long. Where as Tkachuk played 18 seasons and scored 20+ goals in 15 of them. He was a productive player (at times extremely productive) right up to the end, and that tips the scales for me.
