Honourable Mention: Michel Goulet (1979, QUE), Larry Robinson (1971, MTL)

I feel bad for Goulet and Robinson, both Hall of Famers who never had a shot at this spot because they’re going up against one of the greatest goaltenders of all time. Robinson is a 2-time Norris Trophy winner with 6 Stanley Cups. Goulet had a stretch in the mid-80s where he scored 360 goals in 7 seasons (only Kurri and Gretzky had more in that span). And they just had no shot.
